SHIPPING & RETURN POLICIES

Domestic Shipping Policy

  • ​Domestic shipping within the continental United States is free.

  • Derrio Wood Co. insures all shipments.

  • Alaska and Hawaii incur additional shipping and handling fees. We will give you a quote prior to shipping. 

  • All orders are processed within 2–3 business days..

  • Most orders will be shipped via Fedex or USPS.

  • Orders are not shipped between Friday through Sunday nor on holidays.  

  • If there is any reason your shipment will be delayed, we will contact you.

  • You will receive a shipment confirmation email with your tracking number once your order has shipped.

  • Bulk orders will include an additional shipping charge based on weight and we will contact you directly.

  • Purchases in Arizona are taxed at the 8.7% rate.

International Shipping Policy

  • International shipping is not free. Please contact us at info@derriowoodco.com for rates.

  • All orders will include a shipping and handling fee based on weight and size.

  • Once your order is placed, you will receive an invoice for the shipping and handling fees within 2-3 business days.

  • Orders will be shipped and tracking number provided once the shipping and handling fees are paid. 

  • All CITES I and II wood species are not available for international shipping.

  • Derrio Wood Co. ships in accordance to U.S. law and is not responsible for restrictions in other countries.

  • Derrio Wood Co. is not responsible for any customs and taxes applied to your order.

  • Purchaser takes full responsibility for shipment once tracking number is provided.

 

Customs, Duties, and Taxes

  • All fees imposed during or after shipping are the customer’s responsibility (including tariffs, taxes, and other costs).

 

Damages​

  • Derrio Wood Co. insures all shipments.

  • If you received your order damaged, please file a claim with the shipment carrier.

  • Save all packaging materials and damaged goods before filing a claim.

Incorrect Shipping Addresses and Refused Delivery

  • We make every attempt to validate the shipping address provided at checkout to ensure that it is recognized as a valid address.

  • If we cannot validate the address, we will contact the customer to provide an updated address.

  • If we cannot update the address, the order will be canceled and refunded.  

  • Derrio Wood Co. will not be held responsible if the customer provides the wrong shipping address and we cannot recover the package.

Returns

  • Derrio Wood Co. reserves the right to approve every return.

  • Returns are considered within 10 business days of receiving your product(s). After 10 business days from the date of receiving your product(s) return(s) will not be granted.

  • Please reach out to us directly regarding any questions you might have about the characteristics of our wood or tooling products before purchase.

  • Returns are granted as long as the wood and tooling remain in the original condition upon leaving our shops. If tonewood is altered in any way, returns will not be granted. 

  • Derrio Wood Co. is not responsible for return shipping fees.
